While abdominal exercises such as crunches and bridges
are excellent for strengthening your abdominal muscles, they are
not necessary for developing a visible six-pack. Abs
exercises such as crunches, sit-ups, and abs machines are actually
the LEAST effective method of getting flat six-pack abs.
To get 6-pack abs you need to reduce the
amount of fat that is covering your abdominal muscles, and to do
this you need to follow an effective weight loss program such as
Eat Stop Eat, where your calorie intake is lowered to create a
calorie deficit. A Calorie deficit is the only way to lose
body fat and to get visible 6-pack abs.
